Build Quality: The Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 appears to be well made with metal and plastic parts found on a genuine steel G17 Gen 4. Fit and finish are good and slide movement is close to zero. The bolt spring is very heavy and the sound of the bolt as it is cocked and released does not have that cheap metallic sound that some blowback air rifles have. Realism: The Umarex replica looks 100% the part of the 4th generation Glock 17 pistol. Sitting on the table and even holding it in your hand, you'll think it's the real deal until you pop the mag and see it's a BB/CO2 mag. Just about everything works like a real Glock 17, including the bolt lock, trigger safety, magazine release, and even trigger switches for quick field strip and adjustable jump access. Pros: Good weight and feel, build quality looks very good. A truly beautiful and complete replica of the original Glock 17 Gen 4, fully licensed by Umarex. The white dots of the front and rear sights are easily visible. The metal magazine holds CO2 and 18 rounds of pellets. A heavy sliding spring should have a strong recoil effect. A built-in security system in the area of the serial number plate allows it to be well hidden. Optional hand straps in different sizes. be higher Sights are not adjustable. I would like to see more pristine packaging from Glock. Comments: I know everyone has been waiting for Umarex to release the Glock 17 Gen 4 BB gun and here it is finally here. I really like the trigger on the G17 Gen 4. It's short and light, perfect for shot placement and actuation. The recoil action is nice and crisp, giving the Glock plenty of recoil. I have had no problems with the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4, which is the best tested of all the Umarex Glocks to date. The Glock 17 4th Gen CO2 BB is by far my favorite version! If you already own a Umarex Glock, that's good, get this one too, you won't be disappointed. Blow Back Glock
A fine copy, but questionable accuracy. Very pleased to purchase this licensed "close" Glock 9mm 17. Gun shoots quite low and to the left. He will have to figure out how to raise the target. As for the replica bb gun, it is too big to fit in the Blackhawk Kydex holster for my 9mm Glock 17. No problem. Looks like a solid gun, but definitely disappointed with the accuracy.
